REGISTRATION IS OPEN for the 2022 Ford’s Colony Killer Whales Summer Swim Season! Register young swimmers ages 5-18. All levels and abilities welcome. Swimmers will learn the fundamentals in all four strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.
Registration is located on Team App under REGISTER NOW! The cost is $150 per swimmer. A Killer Whales team t-shirt is included in the registration fee.
All swimmers new to the team will be required to attend a placement session with the coaches on either Wednesday, May 25 or Thursday, May 26. New swimmers will get in the water and swim the length of the pool. This will allow the coaches to place the swimmer in the proper practice based on ability and safety.
The Killer Whales will be using Team App (now called Stack Team App) as the primary form of communication. Register all parents and swimmers on Stack Team App in order to receive team information, practice and meet schedules, fun photos and last minute weather updates.

MAY 31 – JUNE 10
4-5pm 13-18 yr olds
5-6pm 9-12 yr olds
6-7pm 8 & unders
*Note: Super Team starts on June 13

8-9am 13-18 yr olds

10-11am 8 & unders
11-11:30am Super Team

Practice will continue this week for swimmers that qualify for the Championship Meet on July 30.
Killer Whales will compete in six (6) dual swim meets throughout the summer, all on Monday nights (with the exception of Tuesday, July 5), starting at 6pm. Meet schedule is as follows:

Killer Whales will be using the same team suit as last year: Speedo Infinite Pulse in black/white. This two-year suit is proving to be difficult to find as Speedo is going through changes. If you cannot find the team suit, a solid black suit is the next best option. We team up every summer with Swim & Sport Stop in Newport News to order suits and swim accessories.
